Supporting Kakunyu School

Thank you for thinking about supporting Kakunyu School.

To support or donate directly, please contact the director Mary Kabiito at Kakunyu school.

To donate regularly

If you would like to help the children of Kakunyu School, the VERY BEST thing you could do would be to donate regularly.

Knowing what money is coming in each month means that the school can budget properly. Just £5 a month – £60 a year – would make a huge difference. (As would a bit more, of course!)

At the moment, thanks to the wonderful regular supporters of Friends of Kakunyu School in the UK, enough money is sent to the school each month to pay the salaries of teachers and staff. Some of the more senior staff take nothing – a situation we would love to change.

If you would like to donate regularly, please download the Friends of Kakunyu School Standing Order form here.

If you are a UK taxpayer and would like us to collect Gift Aid, please download the Friends of Kakunyu School Gift Aid declaration here.

Could you donate as a one-off?

There are many projects on the schools’ wish-list. There are also others that haven’t quite made it on to the priority list yet, such as water tanks needing to be re-lined, Mulungi the cow’s stall and pen needing to be moved away from the dormitories, and extra chairs and desks for the growing number of children. We are guided by the school’s priority list, andthere are many projects which would make a big difference to the children. ANYTHING you could give us will really help them.

If you would like to send a cheque, please make it out to Friends of Kakunyu School, and send it to Friends of Kakunyu School, Rathmoy, Hare Lane, Little Kingshill, Bucks HP16 0EE.

Thank you so much.
